Lavini's Trip to Flamere Waterworld

Room 20/21 went to the Flaxmere Waterworld!!!

In term1 and term2 we went to the Flaxmere pools. We went to the pools because we needed to do swimming learning lesson.  The whole learning community went to the Flaxmere pools.

I was nervous because I thought that the pools were deep but the pools were not deep at all.  I see people swimming they did freestyle and they did lots more things.  I smell hot water and I hear splashing and laughing.  I touched the warm water.

Natalie said to us “swim to the other side but freestyle.” Natalie said to us” now I am going to put you in a number”.

My favorite part is when I said “i”m having a bath” and Riley said that too. Then me and Riley did it.

I enjoy when we did freestyle and when we got to be dead.

Retelling

Maui and the sun

It was ā dark night.  Maui and his brothers could not see.  Māui  said to his brothers the sun always zooms around the sky and the days are too short  and nights are too long.  Māui said to his brothers we don't get time to hunt and we don’t get time to fish.  Then Māui said to his brothers we must catch the sun said Māui. But Māui’s brothers laughed and they made ropes out of flax. They went to find the hole where the sun comes from. Then when Māui said to his brothers when I say jump out and get the ropes.Then when Māui said jump Māui’s brothers jumped out behind the big rock but Māui beat the sun again and again but the sun said “owee!”. The sun said “can’t you see me I’m almost dead” said the sun. The sun said I will go slowly and the brothers had time to hunt and time to fish and time to eat.

Wow look at those workers but what are they doing.One is on top of that apple but it is a huge apple. One of them was Andrew and the other one was Kingston but one more was called Phoenix.There is three of them down on the ground but still what are they doing. It looks like they are helping that guy, by the way ,what is that guy doing up there.They are trying to get a piece of apple so they could taste the apple.Also what are they going to do after that big stuff? Are they going to help each other today when they go back home? Or are they going to help that person on top of huge apple.By the way, are they going to help each other today to go back home and are they going to be tired after that big lot of work after that day. There is four here.The man is in there. By  the way they are so little and they  have got small hats and  they have got small shoes.By the way what are they going to do after that? Are they going to take that with them back home?

Swing Bridge

This is a story about a man that is taking photos in the jungle but his name is Roman.He must be brave because there must be a snake on the other side.”It looks like a old bridge to me “said Roman. I think there is a troll under the bridge and it looks wobbly and it smells like a garbage dump. What is on the other side? It looks scary over there and the bridge looks slimy and it looks  yucky.
